St.Mary’s 26: Strathallan 7

Captain: Emila

Player of the match (chosen by Strathallan) Charlotte

The team produced an outstanding performance against Strathallan today, securing a dominant 26–7 victory after controlling the match from start to finish.

They began strongly, showing excellent composure and teamwork to take an early 5–1 lead in the first quarter. Their movement and passing through the court created space and allowed the attack to convert confidently; they had certainly been listening to training tips and put recent drills to good use.

The momentum continued in the second quarter, where the girls maintained their intensity and extended the score to 10–3 by half time. Strong defensive pressure and accurate passing meant Strathallan struggled to gain sustained possession

After the break, the team continued to dominate, with fabulous interlinking play through the centre court leading to several well-worked goals. By the end of the third quarter the score had moved to 17–5, reflecting the team’s continued control of the game.

In the final quarter the girls maintained their focus, finishing strongly to close the match with a convincing 26–7 win. Throughout the game, players rotated into a variety of positions, demonstrating excellent adaptability, game awareness and teamwork.

It was a fantastic all-round performance, with every player contributing to a confident and well-deserved victory – you have a very proud coach! 😊

Well done to every one of you.
