U9 Tigers vs Belhaven Hill

The sun came out just as we started to play. We won the toss and fielded first. We were strong with our bowling this week, which was great to see as this is what we have been practicing in training sessions. We did play well but Belhaven were very strong at batting and scored a lot of 4's and 6's. When it was our turn to bat, we tried hard. Belhaven had some really strong and fast bowlers, and they managed to get a few wickets. We did have some good hits but maybe not quite strong enough to make some runs. We can learn from today's match about communicating and if risky runs are worth it. This week in training we will practice our batting skills and see if we can build up our strength to score more 4's and 6's.

Belhaven had a well-deserved win today, but we had fun and learned a lot that we could build on for our next match.
