U9 STM Lions vs Ardvreck Cricket Team 20th May

Mr Rawson and I took all of form 4 along to Loretto to play against Ardvreck on Wednesday the 20th of May. Though raining on the journey over, the sun was shining whilst we played! The STMs Lions consisted of Eva, Rocco, Hesper, William, Mac, Willoughby, Pia and the team’s captain, Andrew. There were some fantastic moments in the game, in which some impressive bowling and batting were demonstrated! The hard work the U9’s have put into their training has really paid off. Whilst each batting pair had a turn, the waiting pairs always had words of encouragement to shout out to their teammates! After winning 37-12 to us, we played a mini mixed game with Ardvreck to get some more practice in. It was lovely to watch the two schools mingle and enjoy the sunshine and cricket! Well done team, let’s keep smashing it!
