U9 Dolphins Match vs Mowden 06/05/26

On Wednesday, the 6th of May, on a surprisingly sunny day, the U9 Dolphins played against Mowden. For the Dolphins, this was their first fixture of the term! Maisie was our team captain for this fixture, and won our rock, paper, scissors contest and decided to bat first. All five of our pairs made up of Sakura, Mia, Clemmie, Maisie, Jack, Dahlia, Henry, Indie and Nia all produced some great batting skills for our game against Mowden.

The skills they had practiced in their training sessions were definitely being showcased! Next up, we were fielding and bowling. In their same pairs, the Dolphins threw some fantastic balls, with Mowden doing some great batting back. The final score was 185-233 to Mowden. Even though we didn’t get the result we were hoping for, the Dolphins did some great work, and are looking forward to honing their skills in the weeks to come!
