U13B's vs Strathallan

This week, the team made the trip up to Strathallan. Blue skies and bright sunshine made it a fantastic day for hockey.

The game got off to a quick start, with Strathallan repeatedly applying pressure; however, our defence held strong to see out the first quarter. We were slightly slow out of the blocks in the second, and the opposition took full advantage, scoring three goals in quick succession to put us on the back foot.

The team came out for the second half playing positive hockey and were unlucky to see several shots fly just the wrong side of the post. The final quarter was end-to-end action, highlighted by a great individual goal to pull one back. Ultimately, it was a hard-fought contest, with the hosts taking a 4-1 victory.
