U13 3rds Netball Match Report 11th March

The U13 3rds team travelled all the way to Strathallan to play against their respective 3rds team. Mairi, Emily S, Erin, Matilda M, Rose, Clarissa and Maisie all played some fantastic netball against Strathallan. In the first quarter, there were some absolutely brilliant defending from Mairi in goal keep, Matilda in goal defence and Emily S in wing defence, meaning the ball stayed up near our end of the court, giving Rose and Clarissa some great opportunities to shoot our 7 goals that we ended the first quarter on.

Into the second quarter, our girls continued with some fantastic passing from Maisie in centre whenever we started with the ball. Even when we didn’t have centre pass, there was more and more excellent defence from our girls and they continued getting the ball to our net. As the game continued after half time, Erin showed time and time again why she makes such a great wing attack, she was continuously getting the ball away from Strathallan. In our last quarter, already up so many goals against Strathallan, Clarissa and Rose continued to keep scoring, with the support of Maisie and Erin, we won against Strathallan on 26-9 to St Marys. Congratulations are in order to Maisie for player of the match! We tidied up and enjoyed our hot match tea before we got back on the bus back to school. Well done girls, some fantastic netball was played, you should be happy with your performance.
