U11C cricket v Cargifield

I was delighted to have had the opportunity to watch the U11C team in action as they secured a fantastic 3-run victory against Cargilfield School. The team impressed throughout with their excellent communication, teamwork and positive attitude on the field. 

Tommy delivered an outstanding all-round performance, taking three wickets and scoring our only six of the match, earning him Cargilfield’s Batting Player of the Match award. The majority of the runs came from Sacha and Tommy, while Sacha, Chloe and Tommy also found the boundary with some excellent fours. 

Chloe’s constant encouragement and vocal contribution in the field deservedly earned her Fielder of the Match, while Georgia collected the accolade of Best Batter for her composed innings. 

It was particularly pleasing to see all players grow in confidence with both bat and ball as the game progressed. Continuing to remember the importance of backing up in the field will help enhance performances even further as the season continues.
