Boarding blog week ending 3rd October 2025
Monday night saw the boarders back in the kitchen, baking a delicious batch of chocolate chip cookies, which were enjoyed by both children and staff alike.
On Tuesday evening, after prep, the boarders made the most of their time outside on the tennis courts, organising mini games of hockey, rugby, football, and netball amongst themselves.
Wednesday evening brought more outdoor fun. With the night’s drawing in earlier, we took full advantage by playing a huge game of hide and seek around the veranda area. Some very creative hiding spots were discovered—particularly behind the Morrison Hall stage!

On Thursday evening, we welcomed lots of first-time boarders from the Form 3 class. They enjoyed a cosy movie on the big screen in the Sanderson building before heading outside for a lively game of capture the flag. The older, more experienced boarders did a wonderful job helping the younger ones settle in and feel at home.

It was a week full of teamwork, laughter, and new friendships—a lovely way to round off another busy few days in boarding.
