Boarding Blog week ending 6th March 2026

Monday evening saw the children staying indoors, enjoying some rather competitive games of Pictionary before heading to the dining room for a fun snack time together.

On Tuesday, after a particularly warm day, the children were eager to get outside and made the most of it, with games of netball, football, handball, and plenty of others taking place on the courts. 

Wednesday evening brought a short trip next door to the rugby club to visit the Fettes Robotics show, where a number of St Mary’s former pupils were there to greet us. Afterwards, we headed back to school and finished the evening with games on the tennis courts, enjoying a beautiful sunset and making the most of the lighter evenings.  

On Thursday, the children had a very productive prep session before once again heading outdoors for a highly competitive football match, while the Form 8s enjoyed some time in the PPG.

It was another lovely week in boarding, full of energy, fresh air, and time spent together.
