Boarding Blog - week ending 21st November 2025

This week’s chilly weather brought a slower, cosier pace to boarding, with lots of fun taking place indoors.

Tuesday saw us staying indoors to escape the horrible rain, making the most of it with some drawing in the art room while a movie played on the Sanderson screen.

On Wednesday, all fixtures were cancelled, so to let off some energy we headed to the Pre-Prep gym for a lively game of dodgeball. Afterwards, Magnus’s favourite film, Ratatouille, played to an enraptured audience, while those who didn’t fancy the cult classic enjoyed a game of hide and seek in the Hamilton building.

On Thursday, the Form 3 to Form 5 boarders settled in to watch the original ‘Mary Poppins’, while the older boarders braved the cold outdoors for some fresh air and activity.

It was a cosy yet energetic week in boarding and we’re looking forward to what next week will bring, hopefully a slightly warmer week!
