Boarding Blog week ending 13th March 2026

Monday evening saw the boarders heading off to the cinema to watch the new film Hoppers. It was a great success and a lovely treat for everyone.

Early on Tuesday morning, our Form 6 boarder, Poppy Jenkins, nipped over to the rugby club while the other boarders were still sleeping to cheer on her godmother as she set off on the Triple Crown Ride in support of the Doddie Foundation. Later that evening, the Form 8s organised a fantastic talent show and quiz night for the other boarders, expertly run and judged by the pupils themselves.

Wednesday and Thursday saw the boarders sheltering from the horrendous weather outside, with games of hide and seek in the Hamilton and Sanderson buildings, as well as some very competitive dodgeball taking place in the PPG.

Despite the wild weather, it was another fun-filled week in boarding, with plenty of laughter and activity for everyone.
