A fantastic all-round team performance saw us secure an excellent 136 - 46 victory over Belhaven, winning the match by an impressive 90 runs. From the very beginning, the team played with confidence, energy, and determination, showing how much progress they have made over the term. Every player contributed positively, and it was wonderful to see such strong teamwork and encouragement throughout the game. 

Batting was a real highlight of the match, with several players producing some outstanding shots. Maisie batted brilliantly, finding the boundary regularly and finishing with an impressive 5 fours. Stella also played superbly, scoring 4 fours and a huge six in an excellent innings that helped build a commanding total. Heidi, who was deservedly named Player of the Match, played with confidence and power, striking 2 excellent sixes and making a huge contribution with her all-round performance; Erin too scored 2 x 4s with batting partner Mairi adding another to the total. The team ran well between the wickets with a great score from a wide ball which was communicated effectively by Hugh and Hal. 

The bowling performance was equally impressive and showed much greater accuracy and control. Stella led the way with 2 wickets, bowling consistently well and putting the Belhaven batters under pressure. Maisie also claimed an important wicket and contributed strongly in the field. Across the team, everyone bowled with far more consistency and focus, making it difficult for the opposition to score freely. 

Fielding was another major strength during the match. Communication in the field was excellent, with players supporting one another, calling clearly, and working hard for every ball. The energy and enthusiasm from the whole team helped maintain pressure on Belhaven throughout the innings, and it was great to see everyone encouraging each other and celebrating successes together. 

Overall, this was a superb team effort and a performance they should be extremely proud of. The improvement in batting confidence, bowling accuracy, and teamwork was clear to see, and the result was thoroughly deserved. Well done to everyone involved on such a fantastic afternoon of cricket.
