Boarding Blog - week ending 5th December 2025

On Friday of last week we hosted our annual gap surprise at Fountain Park in Edinburgh! We set off in three of the school buses and enjoyed singing/annoying our drivers on the way there! We participated in both mini golf and bowling, with two groups of children swapping after we’d had our feed of dinner provided by Volcano Falls mini golf! We had such a great time, with the theme Australia vs Africa, and some fantastic costumes being showcased by the kids and staff alike.

We toned things down slightly this week with a quiet night on Monday, the girls enjoyed putting up the Christmas tree, showing off some gaudy fashion!

On Tuesday the children spent some time in the Sanderson, either watching a movie or doing some arts and crafts!

The form 5 & 6’s did a fantastic job during both their showings of Matilda the musical on Wednesday and Thursday evening! Whilst they were giving the performances of their lives, our other boarders enjoyed an intense game of football in the pre-prep gym on Wednesday, and some outside time on the tennis courts on Thursday!
