This was an amazing week in the boarding houses where everyone really made the most of the glorious sunshine!
Monday night was spent playing tennis, cricket and Danish long ball out on the front pitch. On Tuesday everyone gathered for a game of diamond cricket and then there was free time for catch ups after camp and crafts back in the Girls’ House.
Wednesday’s fun night was hosted by the Form 8’s. The evening kicked off with a BBQ under the big tree where the excitement began as Anna took roll call. In teams, the boarders rotated around 5 games, each organised and assisted by the form 8’s. There was a colour run on the front pitch, ball games with water balloons, egg and spoon football with egg roulette at the end – raw/hard boiled?... you choose! The paddling pool bingo was popular with crazy forfeits and a water obstacle course. The boarders had a blast; they finished wet, happy and multi-coloured! Thank you to all of the form 8’s who created such a great night!
On Thursday evening the boarders headed over to the chain bridge and down to the river, collecting elderflower and singing along the way. On the river beach there was stone skimming, tree climbing and meditation. A lovely way to finish off a super week J
