50 New Birdboxes Nearing Completion

Last year, we built over 60 bird and bee boxes for our school grounds, the RSPB and the Borders Forest Trust. This year, we aim to expand on that success and are building another 50 boxes. These boxes are destined for other local schools.

We had so much fun ringing the nestlings in our boxes with the RSPB's Mr Mike Fraser last Summer Term that we want to share this amazing experience with as many local schoolchildren as possible.

Form 7 and Form 8 have therefore been hard at work building suitable boxes. They should be on the market for feathery house-hunters very soon!

Well done to all involved!
