Badger Snapped by New Trail Camera

On Thursday afternoon, members of Forms 3, 4 and 5 set up the new trail camera and positioned if down in the Middle Field.

The trail camera has a motion sensor, infrared flash and operates both night and day in all weathers. It was bought with some of the remaining prize money from last summer's Scotland's Finest Woods Award.

As you can see from the photos below, the results are absolutely stunning. Who knew that we had badgers passing through the Middle Field at night?!

We are going to look at ways to expand this project both within our school community and beyond. Let me know if you have some interesting and exciting wildlife in your garden/woods/fields that you would like to capture on camera.

Well done to all involved!
