More Bumblebee Boxes Put Up Around School

During Thursday afternoon's Outdoor Learning and Leadership activity, members of Forms 3, 4 and 5 put up six bumblebee boxes on the Front Field and on the trees in Middle Field.

These boxes were made by some of the same pupils last year to an ingenious design. They have a small entrance area separated from the main nest chamber by a little wooden floor. The bees can enter and leave via a little bee-sized hole. The boxes were painted with some really colourful bumblebee designs and look BEE-autiful!
Well done to all involved!
