Monday 29th October
Boarders split into groups to design and carve pumpkins ready for Halloween on Wednesday. There were zombies, ghouls and a Harry Potter lookalike!
Tuesday 30th October
After completing prep, boarders had the choice to go swimming and noodle racing at Galashiels Pool, paint and game in warhammer with Mr Brown or play ball games in the pre-prep gym with Stefan... With the dark nighst drawing in, there was something for everyone!
Wednesday 31st October
With faces painted and costumes on, boarders enjoyed severed finger hotdogs, eyeball juice and spider jelly for tea... Teams rotated around the school grounds to take part in spooky goings on... there was a glow stick treasure hunt, zombie hoopla, 'wrap the mummy' obstacle course and ducking for apples. After green cupcakes, the seniors headed into Melrose for a spot of trick or treating... spot Mr Harvey's relative found lurking outside his house!
Thursday 1st November
Seniors travelled to Tweedbank to take part in a 6-aside Halloween hockey tournament in aid of Cash for Kids. Whilst junior boarders spent a lovely evening learning how to thread bracelets with Severine and Mrs Stuart.
