Tuesday 17th April The Summer Term started with a bang as the boarders enjoyed a range of activities. There was tennis and dodgeball out on the courts and painting in the Art Room. However, before all of this the boarders has a tour of the new boarding wing in the Main House with Mrs Rawson and Mrs Harvey- very exciting! Wednesday 18th April On Wednesday evening some of the boarders headed down to the Tweed to play and build dams in the evening sun. Back at school we played diamond cricket and tennis before all heading in together for some delicious cake to celebrate Mrs Rawson’s birthday! Thursday 19th April Thursday evening was warm, bright and clear. It was the first night of the term that really felt like Summer. With the Form 8s enjoying their Science Tutorial, a group of boarders headed to the Tweed to skim stones. Mr Rawson showed off by smashing some 20 bouncers across to the far bank above the weir! Back at school the seniors got stuck in to some really feisty tennis. Tommy, Matt, Ollie and Antony played a frantic doubles match that had to be cut short as both were locked at deuce after 15 minutes. Let’s hope the weather is here to stay! Mrs E Rawson
