Form 3 had a busy day at The Hirsel Estate last week with a fun trip linked to their science project, living things in the environment.
We were welcomed by Sally and taken around the estate looking at the differing habitats in the courtyard, hedgerow, woodland and lake. Before lunch we played a hide and seek game where everyone was given a creature card where the predators had to pretend to “find” something to eat and make a long food chain.
After lunch, Sally helped us to make healthy pizzas using wholemeal flour and lots of colourful toppings. We brought our delicious snacks home to enjoy on Friday evening after our busy day.
