Last night the boarders headed down to the Tweed for the inaugural St. Mary's Stone Skimming Championships.
Amongst the merry gang were a number of keen enthusiasts backed up by a throng of happy amateurs.
We crossed the Chain Bridge and were soon scouring the bank for suitable stones. There were some excellent chucks with 10 bounces regularly exceeded by some and the far bank hit on a number of occasions by one seasoned veteran.
Mr Whitelaw was dooked like a big witch and we headed back to school wet but very happy!
Well done to all involved!
