Under 10 Hockey Triangular

with Ardvreck and Clifton Hall

Wednesday 23rd November

U10 Hockey 231116

St. Mary’s 5, Clifton Hall 0
Captain – Anna

The first match of the day started well as the team worked together to take all chances at the goal.  We had some issues with accuracy and missed a few chances to score but after taking the lead 3-0 in the first half we added another two goals with some great team work and accurate passing.

Our competition played against each other but didn’t manage to score.  The match was a very even battle between the two teams.

St. Mary’s 11, Ardvreck 0
Captain - Freyja

Things start well with the first goal scored within the first minute.  This trend continued as goal after goal went straight into the net and even after a swap of positions between our defenders and attackers we continued to stay ahead.

Although it was a bitterly cold afternoon, we had a wonderful time.  The girls were on a high as we returned to school for match tea.  Thank you to all our supporters on the sidelines and to Mrs Scott for her hot juice at half time.
