About Us
I was brought up in Aberdeen and after 7 years at Albyn School I spent a gap year in the United States.  On my return I went to Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh where I obtained a BA(Hons). I then completed a PGCE at Bath Spa University College and worked for 5 years at a state school just outside of Bath.

Determined to return to home soil to be nearer family and friends I took up the position of Form 4 Tutor at St Mary’s in 2007.  I teach Maths, English, Science, Geography, History and RE to 17 lively and very keen children.  I am also coach to the girl’s Under 9 hockey, netball and rounders team.  It always makes me so proud when we play against other schools whether it be home or away matches and I see the girls representing St Mary’s so confidently and trying their hardest.  In 2009 I joined the Boarding House team and now lead a range of activities each Thursday night.  I really enjoy the fast pace, busy days we have here at St Mary’s and working with the enthusiastic and hard working children.
My hobbies include singing in the Peebles choir Inchorus, in addition to playing the piano and recorder.  I also enjoy listening to music and attending the Theatre to see various Musicals where I am often heard singing along!  I also enjoy completing a range of handicrafts and reading books.
