About Us
Born in Stirling, but brought up in Perthshire, I attended Craigclowan Preparatory School, and continue to have a family connection with the school, through my mum who is the Form 4 teacher. Sport was always on my mind in my younger years (and it still is!).  It was the sports fields I enjoyed the most, playing for every sport team I could, including skiing, swimming, athletics, hockey and cricket but it was rugby that captivated me the most. I was fortunate to play for the WOSPS twice, and turn out for the Scottish Prep Schools side, which was at that time coached under the watchful eye of Mr. Harvey!!  Moving on from prep school, I was awarded an all-rounder scholarship to attend Strathallan School, which was very handy because it was just down the road. However, I still boarded to embrace every opportunity the school had to offer. During my time at Strathallan, I continued to follow my passion for sport and I turned out for the School at 1st team level in Rugby, Hockey and Cricket, as well as continuing to turn out for the schools ski, swim and athletic teams. I was fortunate enough to play rugby in the Scottish Schools Cup at the age of 15, where that year we made it to the semi-finals. I accepted the role of 1st XV captain, as well Head of House in my final year.

During my time at Strathallan, I was able to travel to the other side of the world, firstly on rugby tour to Australia and Singapore, and then the following year I was selected to be part of an exchange programme to attend school at St. Andrews College, Christchurch, New Zealand. In 2013, I was lucky enough to head back out to Australia to play rugby again, just outside of Sydney.

Over the last couple of years, I have been balancing a few roles, including Assistant Development Officer for Linlithgow RFC and West Lothian. Performance Analyst for Edinburgh Rugby, Scotland Club XV, U20 and U16s all whilst attending Edinburgh College, studying coaching and developing sport, allowing me to gain my HND.  I have also been heavily involved in the Regional Pathway Programme at U14,15 & 16 level for Edinburgh.

A phone call from Mr. Harvey late December presented me with the opportunity for a new challenge, in a new environment after working at BT Murrayfield for the last couple of years. St. Mary's has always been a place of which I have fond memories including scoring my final try for Craigclowan on the front field!

It is a delight to be back!
