U13A Netball v Loretto

Loretto U13B 4, St. Mary’s U13 Bs 9

This was another great game of netball, played in tremendous spirit and very eagerly contested.

As with the As we got off to a fantastic start and by the end of the 2nd quarter had taken a 7 to 1 lead. There were some very tall Loretto girls in the Bs, though this afternoon we proved that height isn't always everything in netball (although sometimes it does help!).

In the 2nd half of the match. Loretto began to get to grips the speed, movement and tenacity of the St Mary's dynamos and subsequently the third and fourth quarters were very closely contested. Again I was thrilled with the performance of the girls and couldn't have asked any more from them. Very well done; onwards and upwards!!!

One aspect of the afternoon that wasn't as enjoyable or harmonious was the attempt at singing in the bus; at least I think it was singing! I could name and shame, but this time, I won’t!
